Getting started

What is Media Events Radar?
It brings together the upcoming public events of a country — protests, summits, elections, ceremonies, official visits, deadlines — on one calendar, always up to date. Read more on How it works.
Where do the events come from?
From the country's own domestic media: news agencies, newspapers and public Telegram channels. Every event links back to its original source so you can verify it.
How reliable are the events?
Content is interpreted automatically, so it may contain inaccuracies. Each event carries a Confidence indicator (how reliable the date and details are), and events reported by several sources are highlighted. Always double-check against the original source.
Which countries are covered?
Use the country selector in the top bar to switch between the covered countries. We add new countries and sources over time — request one if it's missing.

Using the calendar

How do I open an event's details?
Click any event on the calendar. You'll see its date, location, participants, sources, a confidence bar, the weather for that day, and events happening "Same day, elsewhere".
Why do I only see some of the events?
Without an account you see a preview of the calendar. Create a to see all events, and subscribe to open unlimited event details.
Can I search or filter events?
Search, the "Confidence 100%" toggle and "Filter by type" are available with a subscription. Filtering by type lets you show only the categories you care about.
What is "Same day, elsewhere"?
Inside an event you can see what else is happening the same day in other countries — useful to spot overlaps and plan coverage. It's a subscriber feature.
Can I save events?
Yes — with a free account. Saved events go to your personal calendar in your account.

Email briefings

What are briefings and how do I set one up?
Briefings are personalised email digests of upcoming events. In your account → Briefings, pick a country, the topics you follow, the frequency (daily or weekly), and the time (and weekday for weekly). They require at least a Starter subscription — a free account alone is not enough.
When are briefings sent?
At the hour (and, for weekly, the day) you choose — the time is in UTC, with your local time shown next to it. You can also send yourself a test at any time.
Do briefings include updates?
Yes. If an event you've been notified about changes — a new date, extra details — you receive the update, so your agenda never goes stale.
